When you learn about the best study spots near Barry University, you'll never again neglect your classes or your work.

Chickasaw Branch Library

While Barry University does have several libraries on campus, including one just for law students, you might not want to drive all the way back to campus just to deal with a bunch of frustrated students. The Chickasaw Branch Library is a library in the Orange County Library System and one of the newest additions to that system. Its computer lab features 14 different computers that you can use after showing your card. You can also use the Fab Lab, which has multiple computers and a 3D printer. If you work on a group project with other students in your classes, you can reserve one of the meeting rooms or work rooms in advance. The library closes on Sundays, but is open from 10 am to 9 pm on Monday through Thursday, and from 10 am to 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Pom Pom's Teahouse and Sandwicheria

When hunger strikes, you need to give up your spot, grab some food, and hope there is still a spot there when you get back. Pom Pom's Teahouse and Sandwicheria makes it easy to study and chow down at the same time. Conveniently located near Barry, this restaurant offers an extensive menu of hand-pressed teas, sandwiches, and salads. As it opens early in the morning, you can also stop by for coffee and some breakfast. The restaurant's build your own options let you build your own perfect sandwich or salad from scratch.

Lake Baldwin Park

Bring your four-legged friend with you to study at Lake Baldwin Park, which boasts one of the area's only dog parks. With more than 21 acres of land, you'll surely find a quiet and peaceful place to work. The park has a nice strip of sandy beach that lets you dip your toes in the water, enjoy the fresh air, and listen to the waves as you study. There are also restrooms available for bathroom breaks and picnic tables for spreading out your work. The park opens every morning at 5 am and closes at 6 pm.
